Clive Willis
Clive started his motor trade career when he joined Renault UK as a Sales Executive. His career quickly progressed to Sales Manager and then General Manager of a Surrey Renault dealership by the age of 27. He then spent a number of years with a Volkswagen Audi dealer group where he became Group Operations Director. From there he ran a worldwide tax free car sales business representing ten different manufacturers.Having always believed that the most important part of any business is the people who work in it, Clive established his own recruitment business in 2001. With a sound knowledge of the local market in Surrey and West Sussex, the business grew quickly and it is now an exciting time for Clive and Vantage Auto Recruitment with the business continuing to expand across the UK and into new market areas.
Mike Thomas
Mike has extensive experience in both the Retail and Manufacturer environments and joined the Motor Industry in 1977 at the age of 22. He started by working within the Manufacturer / Distributor side of the industry, firstly with Fiat Auto UK, working within their Distribution and Production division and later moving to BMW (GB) Ltd where he worked within the Sales and Marketing division firstly, he was responsible for Dealer Network liaison then as their UK National Field Sales Manager / BMW Approved Used Car Manager.
He had long held a strong desire to work within the Retail sector of the industry and in 1990 was offered the opportunity of a General Managers position within a BMW business in the South Wales area and later on in his career becoming a General Manager within a Jaguar business.
In 2005 Mike joined the world of Recruitment and with his broad knowledge and experience of the Retail and Distributor side of the industry he has been able to assist many Clients and Candidates with successful job placements, which have generally led to effective and profitable results for both parties. Mike is very much a people’s person, with a strong passion for the motor industry and a firm belief that business only succeeds when you have the right people in place, an objective that he takes very seriously when matching candidates to the client’s specific requirements.

Richard Bull
Richard is a highly polished professional individual with over 30 years experience gained in various Customer Service genres.
Previously working for financial institutions, such as Lloyds Banking Group, he entered the automotive arena via the Finance & Insurance sector.As a Business Manager for a major Ford Franchise, he then moved on to Sales within a prestige environment with BMW and worked his way through the ranks, being involved with both New and Used Car Sales and Management in two of the Midlands top BMW Dealers.In 2003, he was part of a team that won BMW Group ‘Dealer of the Year’, a coveted title that is still regarded as very prestigious.Having spent over a decade in the Middle East, including United Arab Emirates and Qatar, Richard has experienced General Sales management with other brands such as Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge and has also pursued several interests in the overseas property and hospitality industries.Recently returning to what he knows and loves, he is now our Regional Director covering the Midlands and Shropshire regions.
